Lee specialises in defence and security, consumer and leisure and natural resources. He managed the account team that was awarded the Private Sector Campaign of the Year in 2010.
He has supported a number of clients engaged in Government procurement campaigns including Defence Training Review (DTR), Military Flying Training Systems (MFTS), Future Strategic Tanker Aircraft (FSTA) and Future Rapid Effects System (FRES) and its successor SV.
As well as client work Lee operates at Group level reporting to the CEO developing Interel’ s co-ordinated marketing strategy in Europe and throughout the International Partners Network of public affairs agencies in 14 different countries.
Before joining Interel Lee was Head of Campaigns and Internal Communications at Amicus the Union (forerunner of Unite) Britain’s largest private sector industrial and professional union. Reporting to the General Secretary he was the official media spokesperson and co-ordinated campaigns nationally on behalf of the union’s four national regions, 32 industrial sectors and 1.2 million members.
A former Labour Party staffer and Scottish Parliamentary candidate, Lee was seconded to the Labour Party General Election campaigns in 2001 and 2005 as part of the leaders tour and ministerial visits team. He graduated from the University of Strathclyde with a BA Hons in Government.
